Will We Ever Meet

Will We Ever Meet

Will We Ever Meet

Often I think of you, of us...
For years
you've been present in my mind.
To meet,
will we ever?
Although,
the tender words you weave at night,
You scatter
in the morning, thinking it's better.
Wiser,
and knowing nothing else.
For so long
I've written messages to you,
Had
understanding and time.
Sincere,
not a word was omitted.
Your shadow
hides, erases traces.
No longer
does paper endure writing upon it.
Too much
would be to dare
To convey
the breath of emotion.
