I wanted to write you a poem, my Love
Charismatic verses to rattle on until hell freezes over,
It would have left the most parching thirst run through your body,
The one you would have cherished like the last drops of honey in a jar,
Through my lustrous and iridescent lips leaving you gasping for more.
Ruefully, I crumpled the pages into balls everytime I tried to,
I felt a splitting pain in the spine and my head was brimming with baffling impulses.
It would have been a poem my love,
Full of brisking hugs and series of kisses.
I would have crooned a neutered song, kind of bland and balmy,
Fresh and piquant to the palate of your tender feelings
As ylllou visualize your tongue melding with mine
Not my hackneyed jokes pasting canned smiles on your face
But I was so tethered down and my eyes were glassy
Maybe tomorrow, yes, tomorrow my Love
I'll write to you a beautiful poem
