Jovo R. Drobnjak was born on July 11, 1946, in Slivnica, Trebinje. He is married to his wife Tanja and has a son named Risto.
He received education in Dubrovnik, Belgrade, Zagreb, and London. Throughout his career, he worked in the industry while also teaching at higher schools and faculties. He started in the industry from the simplest positions and later undertook the most complex and highly responsible tasks. He served as a commercial and later financial director. From the beginning of 1975 until the end of 1990, he was the general director of the company D.T.S. Dubrovnik (Dubrovnik Trading-Tourist System). This company is among the largest and most successful in Europe.
In addition to his work in the industry, he held other important positions in professional associations, chambers, banks, and working institutions in Croatia, Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Europe.
Since the beginning of 1991, he has been living and working in Belgrade.
He is the author of four books, several scientific papers, economic studies, and projects. His latest book, "THE NEW ECONOMIC MANIFESTO," is a project for the future, outlining significant socio-economic reforms in Serbia and the accelerated development of society.
For his achievements in his work, the author has received numerous awards, honors, and decorations in Croatia, Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Europe.
